Sassy Underwater Cenote Trash The Dress Session

After Cassandra & Eric’s I-do’s in a private wedding villa, they joined me for a sassy underwater cenote trash the dress session, hidden in the Riviera Maya’s jungle.

Being a water lover (Eric proposed under the sea in Xcaret), adventurous and free spirit, Cassandra wore a mermaid inspired wedding dress. It looked fabulous underwater!!

This was a very fun day for all of us, even Eric looked cool and relaxed underwater. Thank you both for an incredible adventure and for allowing me to capture your love in the depths of Mexico’s sacred Mayan cenotes 😉

Adventurous Ways to Say I Do in Mexico

Here are some Adventurous Ways to Say I Do in Mexico that make beach weddings look boring.

I’ve always considered myself a true nature and adventure lover. Therefore, when I’m not out shooting charming weddings, I’m hunting little dirt roads that will hopefully lead me to amazing spots that have never seen a wedding dress (not always lucky, lol)!!

So in my endless search for breathtaking remote locations off the beaten track, near Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya and Tulum for today’s adventurous brides; I found this incredible venue near Tulum!!

Deep in the jungle, hidden behind a small wooden door and part of a boutique eco-friendly hotel is this pier. The sunsets here are the best I’ve ever seen and definitely a magical spot to say I-do and start a new chapter in your life. Check out the pictures below and let me know what you think?

And if you find yourself dreaming of having an outdoor wedding like this, reach out to me and we’ll make it happen!!!

Thanks Kari & Ismael for trusting my vision and being part of this adventurous outdoor elopement. And special thanks to the people that made this happen: Michelle from My Perfect Wedding Mexico and Ael from Ael Becker Weddings.

Colorful Blue Venado Mexican Inspired Wedding

Nohemi & Byran tied the knot and celebrated their love with this Colorful Blue Venado Mexican Inspired Wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

I loved everything about this wedding: the bridesmaids off the shoulder embroidered dresses, the groomsmen traditional and beachy “guayaberas”, lace table runners with colorful floral centerpieces, dreamy string light curtains … and of course, the love these two have for each other.

Special thanks to Sofia and her amazing Blue Venado Weddings Team for making this truly magical. We all had a wonderful time!! #ParraSiempre

Epic Whale Shark Experience in Mexico

Courtney celebrated her birthday in the best possible way: an Epic Whale Shark Experience in Mexico. Can you even imagine swimming next to the famous gentle giants in the crystal clear Mexican Caribbean waters??

It all started with a lifestyle photo shoot at the chic Belmond Maroma Resort & Spa just south of Cancun. where we started the celebration a few cocktails next to the beach.

The following day, I joined the group for an amazing adventure : the ultimate Whale Shark Experience in Isla Mujeres, Mexico.

After a few minutes of sailing, we all had a chance to swim next to this majestic creature. You basically put on your snorkeling gear and take turns to jump in the water to swim with the giants, no diving experience required 😉

After a while  the crew took us to Playa Norte, prepared the most amazing ceviche for us and served it on a floating table so we could all swim in the turquoise waters while enjoying our fresh ceviche. How cool is that??

Thank you, Courtney and everybody, that made this day possible!!

Exclusive Cenote Boho Elopement

Laura & Keaton tied the knot with a gorgeous Tulum Destination Wedding but a few days later, they joined me for an Exclusive Cenote Boho Elopement deep in the lush Mayan jungle.

Following their adventurous heart, they trusted me to capture this intimate symbolic wedding ceremony in a hidden cenote with crystal clear waters, waterfalls and surrounded by huge trees and the sounds of nature.

This is the first ever this cenote has witnessed a wedding ceremony and I loved this location so much, can’t wait to go back!! Contact me or my friend Lucy for more info on this magical location in the heart of the Mayan Riviera, Mexico 😉
